Jubei featuring Flowdan ‘Say Nothin’

Out on Metalheadz 30th April 2012

what a lucky girl I am to be representing 2 of the scene’s biggest and most sought after MCs! I have welcomed Flow Dan and Crazy D onto the Acute Promotions Agency roster in the past 6 weeks… set above is from GetDarker with Hatcha B2B Goth Trad.

In as unbiased an opinion as possible, this set is so sick. As always, both Hatcha and Goth Trad take the set on a journey, keeping the listener fixated. I was fortunate enough to be in the area and popped down to the studio to witness it first-hand and yet I’ve still watched this 3 times over.

I’ll be presenting the ‘Acute Promotions Agency Show’, a brand new show on Ministry of Sound Radio starting Tuesday 7th February at 9pm!

Very excited about the fact I’ll be able to personally introduce one of the talented Acute artists each month, after playing a few tracks from the Acute artists and friends.

You’ll be able to listen to the debut show here: http://www.ministryofsound.com/radio

HUGE Shout to We Free The Box for filming.

MASSIVE shout to Jim syte for this write up on MakeItGood

Much Love x

makeitgood:

Our friend and long time MakeItGood supporter Nikki Acute has been very busy recently! Having successfully launched her two digital labels Family Tree & Synchronicity last year, Nikki has also been working hard to build up her artist agency and now has some of the most promising…

Big, big, big thank you to Lara from MakeitGood and Wil from FatKidOnFire - was such an honour to be interviewed for you guys and to be the first one! And also a big shout to Sam from We Free The Box for his wicked filming and editing!!

I was soooo nervous for this interview! But the guys made me feel at ease.

Still can’t watch it without cringing though!

makeitgood:

Seeing as it’s Friday, and nearly the weekend, we thought we would release our next MakeItGood x FatKidOnFire feature. This feature is our first video interview in the series, and we are so stoked that Nikki Acute stepped up and had a chat with us!

For those of you who don’t know, Nikki runs Acute Promotions AgencyFamily Tree Records and Synchronicity Records. With already 001 and 002 releases out on Family Tree, and the fact that she is representing a handful of well known DJs/Producers, it’s fair to say that Nikki is making moves with the dubstep scene.

We caught up with her and here’s what she said…
