Incredibly excited to announce that Future Garage don, Whistla has joined our roster!

First of many non-Dubstep acts to be added to the agency, Whistla champions the ‘Future Garage’ sound through his sets, productions, radio station Sub FM & label L2S Recordings.

The response for his Getdarker set was phenomenal and a showcase of what Whistla does every Tuesday 8-10pm on Sub FM.

His style fits perfectly in Bass music line ups alongside the best artists.

I’ll be presenting the ‘Acute Promotions Agency Show’, a brand new show on Ministry of Sound Radio starting Tuesday 7th February at 9pm!

Very excited about the fact I’ll be able to personally introduce one of the talented Acute artists each month, after playing a few tracks from the Acute artists and friends.

You’ll be able to listen to the debut show here: http://www.ministryofsound.com/radio

I remember meeting Soap Dodgers for the first time at Music bar in Brixton mid 2010. I now know that it was one of their first gigs, not the biggest turn out but was packed with good vibes. Although at the time I hadn’t heard of them before, my intuition told me to listen intently to their set and, as a result, I was wowed with their DJing abilities. Both Max and Jamie were on a par with incredibly tight mixes, and although it was apparent that due to their newbie status they had a set generally comprised of already released tracks, their set was on FIRE and one I’ll never forget.

Keen to introduce myself shortly after their set, I immediately warmed to their characters, all 3 of us got along really well. I’m a strong believer in intuition leading you the ‘right way’ and as I had a strong feeling that it was really important to help them out as much as I can, I went with it, to the best of my ability. Max & Jamie’s talent is clear and has already grown from strength to strength in such a short time, for anyone who is aware of them already you’ll have no trouble agreeing.

Seeing their professional (and personal) progression over the past 12 months has made me proud to be a part of it, they’re both doing very well already and have some huge things in the pipeline. They’ve been smashing gigs all over the UK and Europe, have an album deal with one of the biggest labels in Dubstep, NType’s successful ‘Wheel & Deal Records’, and are having their tracks played by the likes of Skream, Joe Nice, NType, Hatcha + a large number of other successful artists.

They’ve appeared on Kiss 100, Rinse FM & GetDarker TV, GetDarker’s compilation ‘Pure Dubstep’ and have so many other huge accolades to be announced from now on forward.

If you haven’t already heard of Soap Dodgers, I’d begin by asking ‘are you a Dubstep fan?’ the answer would obviously be ‘No’ as they have been everywhere for the past 9 months, and if you’re not already a Dubstep fan, take a listen to this latest mix, you’ll see why they’re ‘tipped for big things’ and will definitely, without a doubt, live up to that huge claim.
